Careers at Simply Spayed

Build the future
of veterinary surgery.

Join a team dedicated to exceptional surgical care, continuous learning, and creating a workplace where talented professionals can thrive. We're hiring a six-person founding team for our opening.

Our Mission

A different kind of surgical practice,
built from the inside out.

Simply Spayed is currently in development, a modern outpatient veterinary surgery center focused on the kind of work veterinary professionals came into this field to do. Exceptional patient care. Advanced anesthesia. Evidence-based medicine. Compassionate recovery. And the kind of team culture where everyone teaches, everyone learns, and everyone contributes.

  • Exceptional patient care
  • Advanced anesthesia
  • Evidence-based medicine
  • Compassionate recovery
  • Team collaboration
  • Professional development
  • Respect for every team member

We're recruiting individuals who want to help build something extraordinary from the beginning. If that's you, we'd love to meet you.

Why Work at Simply Spayed

The work, the schedule,
the team, the place.

A surgical-centric, daytime-only, no-emergency-on-call model built around a small team that does this work exceptionally well, every day.

01

Surgery-Focused Medicine

Every case is a surgical case. The team specializes, protocols sharpen, and patient outcomes get measurably better month over month.

02

Predictable Daytime Schedule

Outpatient surgery means your day has a beginning, a middle, and a clean end. No late-night adds, no surprise emergencies when the sun goes down.

03

No Overnight Hospitalization

Patients go home the same day. You go home, too. The overnight shift is not part of this practice.

04

No Emergency On-Call

Stable outpatient cases only. We do not carry an emergency caseload, so the team finishes the day and stays finished.

05

Modern Surgical Equipment

New operating suite, modern anesthesia delivery, multiparameter monitoring, and a sterile processing workflow that actually meets today's standards.

06

Collaborative Team Culture

Small team, shared responsibility, daily case review. Everyone's input shapes the protocol.

07

Respect and Appreciation

Above-market wages, paid time off, paid holidays, and a leadership style that treats your craft as the craft it is.

08

Professional Growth

Annual CE allowance, paid CE days, journal clubs, anesthesia education, and Fear Free certification support.

Workplace Culture

What kind of workplace
are we building?

A workplace where the work is hard, the team is kind, and the leadership is honest. Where everyone teaches and everyone learns. No ego. No drama. Just good surgery, done right, by people who respect each other.

Respect

For patients. For clients. For each other. For the work we do, every day, together.

Kindness

A team that handles hard cases gently, and a culture where asking for help is a strength.

Accountability

Showing up, communicating clearly, and owning our part of every patient outcome.

Professionalism

Standards held high, not as a requirement, but as the natural output of people who care.

Continuous improvement

The protocol that worked last month might not be the one we use next quarter. Better is the task.

Patient-centered care

Every protocol, every conversation, every schedule starts with the patient.

Open Communication

Questions and concerns are raised early, discussed respectfully, and addressed without blame.

Mutual support

The right kind of team covers for each other because they want to, not because they're told to.

"No ego. No drama. Everyone teaches. Everyone learns. Everyone contributes." A workplace worth being proud of.
