Three short films.
One quiet practice,
introducing itself.
A working brief for the filmmakers and editors preparing the trilogy that introduces Simply Spayed Veterinary Surgery to pet owners, family veterinarians, and rescue partners. Each film is short, paced, and built for the web. The tone is calm, confident, and warm. The cuts prefer breath over motion.
Tone and Direction
The films are not a sales pitch.
They are proof of care, in motion.
Three films, two minutes each, one practice. Hero loop on the homepage (runs as quiet motion, click-to-play optional) introduces the surgery. Welcome film lives on the services page and shows what an actual visit feels like. Home Recovery is the closer, on the patient resources page, filmed in a real home with Dr. Seth Finger narrating the first seventy-two hours.

The opening film. Five cross-faded cinematic stills across fifty seconds, with subtle parallax and a gentle scale. The patient family and the practitioner see the building wake up. No people in frame for the first third. The film earns trust before any face appears.

Welcome, Services PageWhat an actual
visit feels like.
Two minutes. Owner arrives with a calm dog. Mets Dr. Seth Finger at the front desk. Walks to the exam area. The dog meets the team. A short pre-op conversation in a sunny consult room. The dog leaves in the owner's arms a few hours later. Dr. Seth narrates the rooms and the choices.

Home Recovery, Patient ResourcesThe first seventy-two
hours, at home.
Filmed in a real home with a real family and a recently spayed dog named for the occasion. Two minutes. The home is sunlit and quiet. Dr. Seth appears on-screen once, in a soft chair, explaining what's normal and when to call. Cutaways show: the recovery bed with dim light, the e-collar adjusted at the bowl, the short, slow leash outing, the incision on day three clean and dry.

Filming once and using across the trilogy keeps the practice present on screen consistently. Each shot is matched to at least one narrative beat and to the brand palette.
Audio and Music Direction
Soundtrack
Quiet, not silent.
Music lives low and breathes slow. A single piano or a sparse guitar with a soft pedal. The score should suggest care rather than excellence. No percussion, no strings, no synth.
Recommendations in the same family: Nils Frahm's solo piano, the slow pieces from Ólafur Arnalds, or a custom cue in a similar key. Tempo sits between 56 and 72 BPM across all three films.
Voice-Over
Dr. Seth Finger.
Voiced by Dr. Seth Finger directly for Slots 02 and 03. Slot 01 has no voice-over, only music and ambient sound, with the page text carrying the introduction.
The voice-over script is short. Around 220 words for Slot 02, around 240 words for Slot 03. Speaks gently, with pauses. Avoid clinical precision, speak as if a family has just carried their dog through the door.

A simple, fixed deliverable for each slot. Mastered for web, optimized for mobile, and structured so we can swap a single shot without re-rendering the whole timeline.
